WHAT WE OFFER

​At Young Achievers, we provide tuition and exam support for students who are ultimately preparing for the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (C.S.E.C) examinations which take place in January and May/June each year.

​

Target Group:

​

Students ranging from ages 12 years to 16 years.

Forms 1 to 5 [Grades 6 - 11]

​

• Homeschoolers (students who are not enrolled in a traditional school)

• Full-time students (who attend the traditional "brick and mortar" school)

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Independent Study

​

Students are required to log in and independently view videos, read notes and complete structured worksheets in our online classroom. This 'flipped classroom' strategy is adopted so as to facilitate the student's learning through the acquisition of previous knowledge of the topics to be covered. This will allow for a more productive student teacher conference. 

 

Tutor Access

During their independent learning period, students will have one on one or group access to tutors via the google classroom, google hangouts and in some cases WhatsApp. 

 

Video Conference via Google Hangouts

Video conference is conducted via the Google Hangouts or Google meet apps. The number of video conferences will vary and is dependent on the level of the assignments and the needs of the students.
